Rather poor but largely used road of 28km allows reaching the national road 6 and the cocoa plantations surrounding Ambanja. A dam crosses the mangrove and divided this peninsula covered with lush vegetation. ![]() ![]() This place used to be the dwelling of the Sakalava Bemazava kings; this now dilapidated colonial building is a reminder of old customs. Further up the hills are filled with macaco lemurs.
